Estimax

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Estimax handles information through estimax.com.au. For privacy questions, contact info@estimax.com.au or call 0494 695 676.

Enquiries and project documents

When you contact us, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, contact number, email address, company, project title, description and uploaded plans or other documents. We use this information to assess your request, prepare a quotation, communicate with you and provide an agreed service.

Only provide information and documents you are authorised to share. Avoid including unrelated personal or sensitive information in project files.

Storage and service providers

The website records enquiry details in its Cloudflare database and saves uploaded files in its Cloudflare object storage for processing. The Microsoft 365 integration copies uploaded files into Estimax’s SharePoint enquiry folders. An internal email notification to info@estimax.com.au includes the enquiry details and internal links to uploaded files.

Submitting a website enquiry does not automatically publish your documents, create SharePoint access or an invitation for you, or send you an automatic email. The website displays a submission result. Cloudflare and Microsoft provide the website processing, storage and email services described above.

Optional OpenAI advertising measurement

On pages offering the advertising measurement control, you can accept or decline optional measurement of whether OpenAI ads lead to enquiries. Your choice does not affect browsing or submitting an enquiry. The website requests the optional measurement software only when there is a current accepted choice. If you later decline, the website sends a consent-denied signal and blocks subsequent enquiry-conversion calls; software already loaded in that page is not removed.

After a confirmed enquiry submission, the website sends an enquiry-conversion event only when optional measurement has been accepted. The event fields explicitly added by Estimax’s code do not include your name, email address, phone number, project description or uploaded files. OpenAI’s measurement software can use first-party cookies and browser or advertising-click identifiers. If automatic advanced matching is enabled for the pixel, OpenAI documents that it can detect supported contact information on the website, hash it in the browser and include those hashes with conversion events. Hashing does not make information anonymous. This policy does not state that automatic advanced matching is enabled. You can change your choice using the advertising measurement control on the website.

The website stores the measurement choice in your browser for up to 180 days. It also uses browser session storage to prevent duplicate enquiry conversion events. This 180-day period is separate from any cookies used by OpenAI’s measurement software. Your browser settings can remove locally stored information. Read OpenAI’s measurement documentation for its cookie and matching behaviour.

Google advertising and third-party technologies

Google AdSense advertising is not currently enabled on this website. If Google advertising is enabled in future, Google and other third-party advertising vendors may place and read cookies, use web beacons, and process IP addresses or other identifiers to deliver, measure and personalise advertising. Advertising cookies can enable ads based on visits to this and other websites.

Read how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can manage personalised advertising through Google My Ad Center. You can also visit industry advertising choices for participating third-party vendors. These controls do not necessarily remove all advertising or all cookies.

Any Google advertising is intended only for the Blogs page’s desktop sidebar. The OpenAI measurement control is separate from consent for Google advertising. Where required for Google advertising, applicable consent choices must be collected before the relevant technologies are used.

Links to other websites

Links to social networks, messaging services and other websites lead to services with their own privacy practices. Review their policies when using those services.

Retention, access and privacy questions

Contact info@estimax.com.au to ask about information held in connection with your enquiry, request access, a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. Include enough information to help us identify the relevant enquiry, without sending unrelated sensitive information.

This policy does not specify a fixed retention period for enquiry records or project documents. Ask us about the storage and retention of information relating to a particular enquiry or project. The 180-day period above applies only to the browser’s advertising-measurement choice, not to project files or enquiry records.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or our information handling practices change. The policy published on this page is the current website version.

Optional advertising measurement

Help us understand whether OpenAI ads lead to enquiries. If you accept, OpenAI may match conversions using contact identifiers securely hashed in your browser. Your choice does not affect browsing or submitting an enquiry. You can change it here at any time.
